‘I hope you are watching’ – Warning sent to Manchester United boss after Chelsea dominate United at Old Trafford
According to Sky Sports report, Manchester United legend Gary Neville was pissed off during his commentary of Manchester United vs Chelsea at Old Trafford on Thursday night.
Chelsea totally dominated the game but were unlucky to take only a point from the tie.
Gary Neville said during his commentary for Sky Sports, that he hoped newly appointed Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag was watching the game.
Gary Neville said: “You hope Erik ten Hag is watching this.”
He also said: “Man United is the type of team for any football fan watching that you almost want to get beat.
“They need beating, they set a really poor example around work ethic and trying – and all the things that parents and teachers tell their children every single day.”
He continued: “Look at the gaps and the space! It’s unbelievable. You don’t see any teams in the league give the space that United do.
“Look where he is [Rashford], he’s at the halfway line, he’s not even moved!
“These lot get paid a fortune and walk about on a football pitch. Embarrassing.”
