£65M STRIKER PREFERS CHELSEA than ARSENAL AND IS GLAD TO JOIN TWO OTHERS
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!According to the Sun, Everton forward Richarlison wants to leave the club this summer, but favours a transfer to Chelsea over Arsenal. Richarlison has named Chelsea as one of three teams he would be interested in joining.
After excelling for the Toffees in 2021-22, Richarlison, 25, has been linked with a move elsewhere – although Frank Lampard’s side only managed to finish 16th. Everton must sell to meet with Financial Fairplay regulations.
During the 21-22 season, the Brazil international assisted on 16 goals and is expected to cost a price of £65 million this summer. Clubs will try to reach an agreement for a player previously praised as “great” by Carlo Ancelotti.
According to reports, Richarlison has switched agents in order to achieve a summer transfer. According to the Sun, Arsenal is intrigued, but the Brazilian wants Chelsea, PSG, or Real Madrid.
Spurs have also been connected with the ex-Watford forward, although that appears unlikely at the moment, with Fabio Paratici focussing his efforts on a defender.
So, Arsenal or Chelsea – or Real Madrid or Paris Saint-Germain? Arsenal are in severe need of a striker, with Eddie Nketiah remaining as the club’s lone no.9 following the 21-22 season. Richarlison would be a great addition, however they don’t play in the Champions League.
Romelu Lukaku is still at Chelsea, but he might return to Inter. Richarlison would be an excellent stand-in. Richarlison would be second fiddle in Madrid and PSG. As a result, he might be forced to wait for Lukaku to depart Stamford Bridge.
