Manchester United are nearing an agreement with a player who has also been pursued by Real Madrid
In recent months, Real Madrid has been linked with a number of players as it is thought that they are preparing for a busy summer transfer window. They may use reinforcements at a lot of different spots all around the pitch. Undoubtedly one of them is right-back, where they have recently appeared to be lacking.
Despite being a club legend, Dani Carvajal has recently struggled with both injury and form. Alvaro Odriozola, Nacho Fernandez, who is currently 33 years old, and Lucas Vazquez do not appear to be long-term solutions.
As a result, Real Madrid might soon need to add another right-back. And one player who has recently been linked to them is Diogo Dalot of Manchester United, who is having a fantastic season while playing for Erik ten Hag.
But, it appears that Real Madrid is facing some bad news in that aspect. Football Insider stated that Manchester United is optimistic in their ability to sign Dalot to a new contract. Contract negotiations are going well, and a breakthrough is imminent, according to sources with knowledge of the circumstance.
Real Madrid target and Manchester United are nearing an agreement on a new contract.
Dalot should stay at Manchester United rather than move to another team because it makes sense. There, he is a guaranteed starter. Additionally, following Ten Hag’s arrival, the Red Devils appear to be on the upswing once more.
Dalot has made a remarkable turnaround in his career. He made very little of an appearance under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s management and was even loaned out. But now, his name is among the first ones on the roster.
Real Madrid would have benefited from the signing of someone like Dalot. He is not just a great right-back, but he is also only 23 years old. Yet, it appears that he will stay at Old Trafford.
