“He’s one of the difficult player to face”– Manchester City’s Doku names ‘quality’ Chelsea player as his hardest-ever

Manchester City’s winger Jeremy Doku has revealed that one of Chelsea’s defenders is the toughest he has ever faced.
Doku’s Dribbling Prowess
Jeremy Doku is known for his exceptional dribbling skills, often leaving full-backs and centre-halves struggling to keep up with him.
This talent was on display during City’s 2-1 defeat to Manchester United in the FA Cup final on Saturday.
Although the Premier League champions lost and Doku only played in the second half, the 21-year-old was impressive.
He gave Aaron Wan-Bissaka a hard time and eventually scored. Doku has also shared how a Chelsea legend inspired him during his youth.
Doku on Facing Chelsea Defenders
This season, Doku faced some top-notch defenders when playing against Chelsea.
Among them were Thiago Silva and Reece James, with the latter being named by Doku as his toughest opponent.
When asked about his most challenging defender, Doku told SPORTbible, “I’ve played against so many good defenders. Now it’s become so much more difficult with teams playing more defensively.
“I would say Reece James. I think he is a very strong and good defender, and one of the hardest I’ve ever played against.”
Reece James and Ben Chilwell Omitted from England Squad
Despite being highly regarded by a top winger like Doku and his former manager Thomas Tuchel, who praised his “quality” in the past, Reece James, along with Ben Chilwell, was left out of England’s preliminary squad for the Euros.
Both players have struggled with injuries this season but are still very experienced. Their exclusion from the 33-man roster is disappointing.
However, some at Chelsea might see a silver lining. With James and Chilwell getting a chance to rest, they can be fully prepared for the upcoming pre-season under their new manager.
Potential New Manager: Enzo Maresca
The identity of Chelsea’s next manager is still unknown, but Leicester City’s Enzo Maresca is one of the candidates keen on the role, according to the reliable Fabrizio Romano.
