‘Fantastic’ Chelsea have just been offered chance to sign ‘world class’ attacker who’s faster than Erling Haaland
According to a report from 90min, Chelsea has been offered the opportunity to sign Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe. PSG is reportedly looking to offload the high-profile attacker in this transfer window rather than risk losing him for free next summer when his contract expires.
PSG’s president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, has contacted Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly about the possibility of signing Mbappe. Chelsea, Manchester City, and Liverpool are said to be open to signing the French forward, but there’s no indication that Mbappe is keen on a move to the Premier League.
Previously, Mbappe reportedly turned down a move to Saudi Arabia after PSG accepted a world-record bid of €300 million (£259 million) from Al Hilal for him.
Many teams believe that Mbappe is destined to join Real Madrid, which has led some to overlook pursuing a deal for him.
Mbappe is widely regarded as one of the world’s elite players and is described as “world-class” by Didier Deschamps. He had a phenomenal season at PSG, scoring 41 goals in 43 appearances across all competitions.
Although it’s uncertain if Mbappe will end up at Chelsea, the prospect of seeing him in the Premier League is captivating for many football fans. The PSG forward is known for his incredible speed, and he has been clocked as even faster than Erling Haaland in their respective careers so far, according to UEFA’s website.
