Petr Cech has expressed his gratitude to Edouard Mendy for their time spent working together as the Chelsea great leaves Stamford Bridge once again.

Mendy sent a tearful parting message on social media after working with Cech since his arrival at Chelsea in September 2020.
I want to thank you for all the memories, pieces of training, and lessons we have shared together, he said in a tweet. I appreciate your faith in me.
“I wish you great success in all of your future endeavors.”

Mendy shared photos of himself and Cech working on the practice field and enjoying a trophy victory.
It has been an enormous honor to play this position at Chelsea for the previous three years, Cech said after leaving.
“Now that the club is under new management, I believe it’s time for me to stand down. I am happy with the club’s current state under the new owners and have faith in its further progress both on and off the field.
