Since then, the 28-year-old has gone from one loan term to the next.
Batshuayi spent the previous season on loan at Besiktas in Turkey, where he scored 14 goals in 37 appearances.
Chelsea are reportedly set to part ways with Michy Batshuayi permanently at the conclusion of the season.
Chelsea has no plans to repatriate the Belgian after his fifth loan term.
