The Chelsea Supporters Trust has issued a statement to Todd Boehly, the new Chelsea owner.
The Supporters’ Trust has written to the American owner, outlining its expectations for the new government.
Boehly spoke with Chelsea supporters multiple times before launching his bid to acquire the club, and the American appeared to be a popular option among fans throughout the process.
The following are the three highlights of the Supporters’ request to Todd Boehly:
• Season ticket costs should be frozen.
• Create a Golden Share with veto power on the stadium, the club name, and the badge.
To begin, make a shadow board.
“Our contacts with you over the last several months have been extremely encouraging, but the real work begins now, and it is now time to deliver both on and off the pitch in constructing a successful, inclusive, and forward-thinking club with supporters at the forefront,” they said.
“Chelsea FC has a genuine chance to become the best in the world in this area.” Supporter impressions about your stay at the club may be defined in the next weeks and months, and you will need to focus on a number of supporter-related problems in the near future.”
