After 1-0 defeat to Southampton, the Chelsea board has made a decision regarding Graham Potter
Graham Potter’s future has been decided by the Chelsea board following the 1-0 loss to Southampton at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
The Chelsea board hasn’t changed its stance on Potter, according to Matt Law of The Telegraph, and will continue to support the manager despite calls for a replacement from supporters.
Instead of making the required adjustments in the dugout, Todd Boehly and the Clearlake Capital ownership appear to prefer to see Chelsea fall into relegation.
The ownership of Chelsea is still willing to support Potter despite Chelsea’s worst performance in years during the first half of their match against Southampton at Stamford Bridge.
Following the loss against Southampton, supporters booed the squad off the field and demanded Potter’s firing, but Boehly is still committed to supporting Potter.
