“Is he up to the standard?” TalkSPORT analyst raises concerns about the ability of 23-year-old Chelsea player
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!TalkSPORT commentator Jamie O’Hara has raised doubts about the quality of Chelsea player Kai Havertz. The German was part of Chelsea’s new-look attack during their recent match against West Ham, which marked a new era for the team following their recent January transfer window acquisitions of Joao Felix, Noni Madueke, and Mykhailo Mudryk.
According to Jamie O’Hara, a TalkSPORT pundit, Havertz is not up to the standard that some of the new arrivals at Chelsea have set. Despite the Blues showing glimpses of improvement as a team in the early stages of their game against West Ham, O’Hara believes that they are still in need of a striker who can score 25 goals a season and Havertz is not that player. He thinks that it will take time for the new and current players at Chelsea to gel together.
According to TalkSPORT pundit Jamie O’Hara, there may still be a need for Chelsea to add a striker to their roster at the end of the season. Despite the impressive showings from new arrivals Joao Felix and Enzo Fernandez, O’Hara believes that the team still lacks a player who can score 25 goals per season. O’Hara also pointed out that West Ham seemed comfortable as Chelsea dominated possession but didn’t have a striker to convert their opportunities. Despite this, some supporters have suggested that the recent addition David Datro Fofana should be given a chance as a starter, and the imminent arrival of Christopher Nkunku from RB Leipzig may address this issue for the club.
