Paris Saint-Germain is set to have offered Kylian Mbappe a huge contract extension to get him to stay in the French capital once his current contract expires this summer. The 23-year-old has been linked with a transfer to Real Madrid, but the Ligue 1 winners are said to be sure that he will stay.

PSG purchased him for £130 million in the summer of 2018 after a season on loan from Monaco, and they will be keen not to lose him on a free transfer.
As a result, the Qatari-backed club is preparing an extravagant bid for Mbappe, which might have a similar inflationary impact on the sport as Neymar’s signing did in 2017. Arsenal, Chelsea, and Tottenham could all be affected for years to come.
