Chelsea told the one condition Todd Boehly must follow as big Graham Potter prediction made
Adam Lallana of Brighton has praised his previous manager Graham Potter and told Todd Boehly to allow the 47-year-old time to work his magic.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!According to Brighton and Hove Albion player Adam Lallana, Graham Potter is expected to succeed at Chelsea on the condition that he meets another need. Last month, the 47-year-old signed a new five-year contract and moved from the Amex Stadium to Stamford Bridge.
The former Seagulls head coach’s ability to manage the increased strain that comes with assuming a notoriously demanding position was questioned. And it appears as though Potter is already headed in the right direction after the Blues’ lopsided victory over AC Milan in the Champions League.
Lallana has informed Todd Boehly that his former employer would need time in order to fully put all of his brilliant ideas into action and alter the residents of west London. The former Liverpool midfielder argued that Potter is the best choice to guide Chelsea ahead on BBC Radio 5 Live’s Football Daily.
He would have known the moment he entered that team that he had an incredible number of players to pick from, perhaps too many. Nevertheless, Lallana predicted that the manager would remain composed and patient and not exhibit any signs of panic. “Knowing Graham [Potter] and how he operates, I can say that he will be quite systematic in his thinking and very calm while speaking to the group and conveying his ideas.
“And as long as he is given the time, I am confident that he will perform admirably there. You are aware of the pressure these managers are under to see results right away, but I sincerely hope he is given the time he needs to achieve success. With the bunch of players he has there and his skill, I have no doubt that he will get them going.”
The 34-year-old clarified the distinction between Potter and Jurgen Klopp, manager of Liverpool. Any player who doesn’t comply with him or his vision for the team, according to Lallana, will probably be let go.
The midfielder for Brighton continued, “He is terrific. “To give you an illustration, he is quite different from Jurgen, for instance, but that does not mean that one is correct and the other is incorrect. They are both highly skilled at managing football players’ egos in a variety of ways.
“Graham speaks to you in a more logical, composed manner and is more interested in your viewpoint as a player. You will engage in back-and-forth conversations with Graham. Prior to working with Graham, I wasn’t used to it, but after working with him for the past two or three years, I’ve realized that you can work like that of course, and he succeeded as a result. You will be kicked out the door if you don’t believe it.
“It is an incredible environment to work in if you are ever a member of Graham’s backroom staff or team because he will give everyone a chance to impress, play well, and be part of the culture and values that he wants.
“I just hope he is given the chance since Chelsea Football Club has a reputation for the rigors of winning silverware, and it can be a cutthroat industry at times due to the pressure. But I believe he is up for the task and is prepared for it, so I will simply be a spectator as it happens.”
