James scored Chelsea’s third goal as Chelsea overcame AC Milan 3-0. James was a beast against Milan.

“Reece is simply a wonderful player and a young guy so he’s growing all the time,” Potter remarked in a post-game interview.

“As time passes, he’ll grow better and better. I’ve had a great time working with him. He can play in any game in the world and has a lot to contribute, therefore my role is to help him realize that potential since it is so great.

“We adore him, and he is really significant to us. His level is that of a future Chelsea icon, but in order for that to happen, he needs to be a member of a winning squad, which is what we’re aiming for.
