Former Chelsea winger Pat Nevin has advised the group not to be persuaded into signing Ronaldo. In preparation for the next season, Chelsea needs a reliable striker.
Nevin believes that Ronaldo will have more difficulty at Chelsea than Lukaku.
“I think Ronaldo would be even more of a horrible fit than Lukaku was for Chelsea,” Nevin said to BonusCodeBets.
“When Lukaku signed last season, many believed he would be the missing piece, but if it was Thomas Tuchel who signed him, I believed he was abandoning his style of play! I couldn’t understand it.
“While Ronaldo scores a lot of goals, playing almost eleven players off the ball makes it impossible to compete in the Premier League.
“Several Chelsea supporters may adore it, but throughout the years, there have been some incidents involving Chelsea that have made them appear to be a circus.
“They can’t be a circus if they’re aiming to catch Man City.
If he joins, he must be informed that he won’t participate in every game and might only play for 45 minutes, but he still needs to put in work for the squad.
If so, Chelsea could be able to sign him for a great price.
