According to reports, Chelsea and Manchester United target Christopher Nkunku will cost at least £100 million this summer.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! After an impressive season in the Bundesliga, the France international has attracted a lot of attention. RP Leipzig’s CEO Oliver Mintzlaff recently told Sky Sports: “I have said it before, and I will say it again here: Nkunku will be our player again next season.” Our goal for next season is to keep the team together.”
Last month, football.london revealed that the Blues intended to sign the 24-year-old during the summer transfer window. Leipzig, on the other hand, is desperate to keep hold of the France international and has been in talks with him to extend his contract at the Red Bull Arena.
Nonetheless, according to rumors in the Independent, the club is eager to sell Nkunku, but only for a nine-figure price.
The attacker has already expressed his gratitude for the international interest in him, and his statements even hinted that he would be interested in a move to Ligue 1 giants PSG in the near future.
“It’s gratifying that the world’s greatest teams are interested in me,” he told L’Equipe earlier this month. It’s nice, though, that Leipzig is trying all possible to keep me.
“We’re in June, with the national team, and I’m focused on this [French national team] meeting.” I don’t pay attention to the transfer window because it isn’t open. After that, PSG is my home, my heart club, where I was trained, as I’ve always stated. I don’t shut any of the doors. In football, anything is possible.”
