Hazard only started seven games in La Liga this season, and he only played 83 minutes in the Champions League, finishing with one goal and two assists in 23 appearances.
Hazard has been linked with a return to the Premier League, but he committed to prove himself with Real Madrid next season after winning the Champions League.
Hazard informed supporters during Madrid’s Champions League celebrations on Sunday evening that he intends to stay at the Santiago Bernabeu for another year and give it his all.
“Madridistas,” Hazard addressed Madrid fans, “I’ve been here for three years with many injuries, with many problems.”
“But I’m going to give it everything for you next year.”
Chelsea will be ecstatic that an add-on has been activated following Hazard’s Champions League victory over Real Madrid.
