Chelsea will unveil Todd Boehly as the new owner of the club on Monday after verifying it on the club’s official website. You may learn more about it by clicking here.
According to rumors, Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has promised Jules Kounde and his representation that if he joins the Blues next season, he would be a “vital player” in their team.
Last summer, the Frenchman was on the verge of joining Chelsea, but Sevilla were unsatisfied with Chelsea’s offer, and he ended up staying.
The 23-year-old is already “convinced” that he will be a Blues player by the end of the summer, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Tuchel is said to have met with Kounde’s representation and assured them that the teenager will be a “important role” in the west London team next season, according to the Mirror.
Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen, and Marcos Alonso are all expected to leave this summer, while Cesar Azpilicueta might possibly go.
As a result, Thomas Tuchel has Kounde at the top of his want list heading into the summer transfer season.
According to the source, Sevilla turned down a £42.5 million deal for the Frenchman last summer, preferring to pay closer to £70 million for him.
Chelsea, on the other hand, is looking to strike a deal with a move for roughly £50 million plus specific add-ons.
Chelsea is eager to use its new £200 million transfer budget under new owner Todd Boehly, and the two parties are seeking to reach a deal as soon as possible.
