In order to locate the best backup for star striker Karim Benzema, Real Madrid’s quest for a striker has now spread to France.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Amine Gouiri of OGC Nice has recently emerged as a credible possibility for the Spanish club, and this has grown more apparent over the last few days. The 22-year-old attacker, who is already among the best in Ligue 1, has been the captain of his team lately.
The French club, however, disputes any interest in their player from Real Madrid. When Prime Video Sport France questioned OGC Nice president Jean-Pierre Rivere about the circumstance, he responded as follows:
I was also aware of these rumours. However, they did not visit our office, and I did not make contact with Real Madrid about Gouiri.
However, it is commonplace in the modern football landscape for a team to downplay an ongoing transfer process. A move like this is advantageous to the selling side since it often forces the buyer to increase their offer.
With 10 goals and nine assists in only 38 league games, the 22-year-old striker was one of OGC Nice’s best foundations last season. In five appearances at the Coupe de France, he also scored twice.
The fact that Real Madrid is willing to lend the player back to Nice for one season, as per SPORT, may prove to be crucial in the discussions. The French club is now seeking at least €40 million for their star attacker.
Benjamin Sesko, Jonathan Burkardt, and Iker Bravo are some further Carlo Ancelotti replacement candidates. Though Gouiri is without a doubt superior to his rivals in terms of expertise and track record.
