Tatarusanu’s starting lineup (5.5): Let’s just be clear from the get-go that you can’t really blame him on any of the goals. He has to be more accessible during play, and his footwork needs to get better, which is why the grade is low.
Dest (4.5): It’s obvious that he truly isn’t up to Milan’s standards, and he needs to become better immediately or Milan will suffer in the upcoming games. He merely adds nothing and commits several errors.
Kalulu (6): With a rating of 6, Kalulu is one of Milan’s top players on the pitch right now, and that says a lot. Although he made a little error on the third goal, he still managed to save the Rossoneri on a few more times.
Tomori (5.0): On the second goal, he made a careless mistake that proved disastrous for Milan, who were then attempting to get back into the game. Not what we’ve come to expect from him.
Ballo-Toure (5): He had several difficulties, especially the third goal (the handoff with Tomori didn’t work), and his attacking impact was virtually nonexistent. However, while it wasn’t a complete catastrophe, it was deadly.
Bennacer (5.5): He gave it his all up until Pioli took him off, but under pressure, he didn’t handle himself as well as you may have anticipated. For some reason, the vertical balls he excels at were absent.
Tonali (5.5): It’s a reality that, much like with Bennacer, the game’s development prevented them from meeting their highest expectations. The determination wasn’t absent, but the spirit was.
Krunic (5.0): This evening, he was a little careless with the ball and made a terrible error by shooting the ball high over the bar from very close range. It may have made a difference in Milan’s victory.
De Ketelaere (5.0): Like the Bosnian, he too had a really excellent opportunity (the previous shot), but he didn’t take full use of it. Additionally, he had trouble making an impression in the game.
Leao (6): His teammates didn’t really do anything up front, so he tried, tried, and then he tried a bit more. Could he have performed any better? Most likely by his standards, but he also did the best he could.
Giroud (5.0): He was virtually nonexistent for the majority of the game and his pushing was ineffective. He had a disappointing trip back to Stamford Bridge.
Gabbia (6), a substitute, performed as one could anticipate him to against a club that had already lost interest. Good trials here and there, nothing outstanding.
Rebic (5.5): He gave the remaining attacks more vigour but ultimately had little effect on the game.
Pobega: He wasn’t there enough for us to notice.
Origi (N/A): He wasn’t present enough.
Brahim (6): The Spaniard put in a strong performance off the bench and actually scored a lot of goals.
