Marina Granovskaia, Chelsea’s director, was a major figure throughout Roman Abramovich’s tenure at the club.
The 47-year-old Russian-Canadian has been a significant figurehead at Chelsea for nearly a decade, overseeing the club’s whole football business, including player contracts, managerial hires and dismissals, and transactions.
Marina’s future, as well as that of chairman Bruce Buck, has been uncertain, with the club due to be sold.
Todd Boehly, the new owner of Chelsea, is set to come to London shortly to discuss the club’s future with managing director Marina Granovskaia and chairman Bruce Buck.
Before Boehly returned to America, Granovskaia spoke with him. Prior to a decision, Boehly is due to return to London for comprehensive discussions on the positions and prospects of the pair.
Buck and Marina, as well as Boehly and certain members of his consortium, are scheduled to attend the FA Cup final this weekend to discuss their futures and the administration of the club.
