Thomas Tuchel send silence message to Frank Lampard Chelsea return
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Newly appointed former Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel, has finally spoken out about the recent return of Frank Lampard to the club. Lampard was announced as an interim manager for the rest of the season after Graham Potter was dismissed by Todd Boehly. Potter’s departure came after a 2-0 loss to Aston Villa, which marked his 11th defeat in 31 games and resulted in the end of his seven-month reign at Stamford Bridge.
Despite Lampard’s return to the club where he made his name as a player, Chelsea’s struggles in the Premier League continued with a 1-0 loss to Wolverhampton Wanderers. The team will now shift their focus to the upcoming Champions League quarter-final match against Real Madrid.
On Monday, former Chelsea manager Tuchel was asked about his thoughts on Lampard’s return to the club ahead of Bayern Munich’s match against Manchester City in the European league. However, Tuchel declined to comment, stating that he is now with a different team and would not speak on the matter.
It’s worth noting that Tuchel’s Bayern Munich team may come up against Lampard’s Chelsea in the semi-final of the Champions League, provided they both progress past their respective quarter-final matches. While Munich faces a challenging quarter-final against Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City, Chelsea’s task will be to overcome the current champions, Real Madrid.
