Thomas Tuchel hands as embarrassment Graham Potter with big act

In his debut game in charge of Bayern Munich, Thomas Tuchel romped to a commanding 4-2 victory, while Graham Potter’s Chelsea were doomed to yet another defeat.
After Julian Nagelsmann, the former head coach of RB Leipzig, was fired last week, the German coach was named to take his position. As Todd Boehly controversially decided to end his tenure as manager at Stamford Bridge, this is Tuchel’s first position.
Fans have grown frustrated as a result of Potter’s Blues’ inability to progress under his leadership. The most recent set of fixtures hasn’t helped with that either.
As Potter saw his club fall into the lower part of the table following a 2-0 loss to Aston Villa at Chelsea Bridge, Tuchel sent his team to the top of the Bundesliga, climbing back to the top after Borussia Dortmund had briefly grabbed first place.
The Blues controlled possession and had 20 more shots than their opponents, but they were unable to break through due to identical mistakes that were costly for Potter and his side. Even N’Golo Kante’s first appearance since August couldn’t help Chelsea win the match.
Ollie Watkins’ first-half goal brought more jeers to SW6, and John McGinn’s long-range goal doubled the visitors’ lead before the break. With Chelsea only in 10th place on goal differential after entering the game level on points, the loss is the most recent event to put pressure on Potter.
Boehly and company have stood with the former Brighton coach through one of the worst periods for the team in the past 30 years, but following the most recent negative outcome, their fortitude will be put to the test once more. Even though there isn’t much at stake in the standings, fans still want to see improvement in performances and outcomes.
Tuchel, on the other hand, was able to get off to a flying start in Munich, rushing to a 3-0 lead inside just 25 minutes courtesy to goals from Kingsley Coman and Thomas Muller. After being eliminated by Potter from the Champions League, Dortmund have maintained their form.
There is a possibility that Tuchel and Chelsea will actually meet sooner than anticipated as a result of that game. If the Blues manage to defeat Real Madrid, the competition’s current champions, they would set up a semifinal matchup with either Bayern Munich or Manchester City under Tuchel.
Given the criticism of Potter throughout the season and the fact that Chelsea has yet to defeat a team who began the gameweek ahead of them in the standings, supporters were quick to highlight Tuchel’s strong debut performance.
I miss my Chelsea, we look unrecognisable these days. One person vented their ire on social media, writing: “That Thomas Tuchel impact after one training sessionbut Graham Potter needs 34 of a season + a preseason before we’re allowed to declare he’s had time to change things.”
Another fan lashed out against Graham Potter, calling him “the worst manager Chelsea has ever had.” They added, “WHAT IS THIS? WE ARE LOSING TO ASTON VILLA WHILE TUCHEL IS COOKING DORTMUND.”
Others commented that “Chelsea let go of Tuchel for Graham Potter they deserve this,” and “How Chelsea transitioned from a Manager like Tuchel to Potter should be a case study in schools for definition of FAILURE.”
