Cesar Azpilicueta, the Chelsea captain who also plays as a right centre-back, is thought to be interested in returning to Spain.
Presnel Kimpembe and Jules Kounde, both of Paris Saint-Germain, have been linked with a transfer to Chelsea as the Blues look to add defensive reinforcements.
Kimpembe, who turns 27 in August, has two years left on his PSG contract and has stated that he is not interested in extending his stay with the French champions.
“Everyone knows my affinity for PSG,” he stated. It is reciprocal. In August, I will be 27 years old, marking a turning point in my career.
“My next contract is critical.” I’m looking forward to meeting the new sports management and learning more about the new project, which I’m interested in. We’ll have to have a brief discussion.”
