“The substitution is a big mistake” – Ashley Cole pick one Pochettino substitution that weak Chelsea
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Former Chelsea player Ashley Cole has suggested that Mykhailo Mudryk’s introduction during Chelsea’s 3-1 loss to West Ham United made things easier for the 10-man West Ham side. Mudryk replaced Carney Chukwuemeka in the 46th minute and played on the left flank.
Ashley Cole pointed out that Mudryk’s arrival seemed to release the pressure off West Ham and made it too easy for them. He questioned whether Mudryk was arriving in the box enough and highlighted that he sometimes seemed too far away from the game.
Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino also commented on Mudryk’s performance, saying that the young player needs to build continuity and trust during training sessions and with the team. Pochettino emphasized Mudryk’s talent and quality and expressed confidence that he would settle better into the team and perform as expected.
Mykhailo Mudryk joined Chelsea from Shakhtar Donetsk in a significant transfer deal in January. While he has shown promise, there is still room for improvement in his performances for Chelsea.
