Chelsea signed Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli for £33 million this summer.

Koulibaly has expressed his joy at receiving a note from the Ivorian legend, whom he used to admire when he was small.
“I used to watch Chelsea games when I was younger, like when Didier Drogba arrived from Marseille to Chelsea,” Koulibaly remarked.
“Then they won the Champions League and he scored the penalty, so when I signed for Chelsea, he texted me, and I was overjoyed.”
Meanwhile, Koulibaly called Chelsea legend John Terry to seek permission to wear the No. 26 jersey at the club.
“The 26 was extremely significant to me, and I appreciate you calling,” Terry responded.
“It’s no problem for me if you take it, it’s an amazing delight.” I wish you luck since I know how significant the number 26 was for me, and I’ve seen you wear it as well.
“I give you the 26 as my joy, mate.”
