The former Manchester United player Gary Neville has criticized Chelsea’s summer hiring plan.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Gary Neville also made fun of Chelsea for already having Ben Chilwell by buying Marc Cucurella.
Gary Neville claims that Chelsea has been frantic in the transfer market.
The former Manchester United and England defender remarked on Sky Sports, “That one simply shocked us today.”
“They already have Ben Chilwell in that position, and they are paying a shocking amount of money. That was a significant transfer that was completed. The one [summer bargain] that jumps out to me is that one.
“Seeing him in a Chelsea jersey, will he develop and justify that kind of money?”
Tuchel’s response, when questioned about Neville’s remarks, was, “Panicking? No, I would say it was really laborious and included learning on the job.
“So it’s basically happening; new ownership followed by entering the transfer market is perhaps one of the hardest things you can accomplish when coming from outside.
But I only have the highest praise and admiration for Todd and Behdad.
“I have no idea when they sleep, and maybe they never do.
But our lines of contact are quite honest, open, and straightforward, and the transfers to date speak for themselves.
“We have a delay, of course. The sanctions caused the delay, and the sanctions caused the loss of important players.
However, as I previously said, both owners are actively engaged in the day-to-day operations; they are so far doing a terrific job, and the transfer market speaks for itself.
Thomas Tuchel was also hoping to finalize the Cucurella move in time to use him against Everton.
It’s not finished yet, according to Tuchel. I don’t want to admit to you that I have no knowledge. Marc is our player, and the paperwork is being processed. Hopefully, we can conclude it by noon. A wonderful young player, he is. mobile, very clever, and hungry player.
He can play several positions in our system, so we’re hoping the move works out. If it is approved, Levi Colwill may be able to get further playing time elsewhere.
