Report: Lawyer is now trying to help £34m Chelsea transfer go leave club
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Sebastian Ledure, Romelu Lukaku’s lawyer, is reportedly trying to facilitate an agreement between Chelsea and Inter Milan over a permanent deal for the Belgian striker. Chelsea is said to be seeking a fee of €40 million (£34 million), while Inter Milan is not willing to offer more than €30 million (£25 million).
Ledure is working to smooth negotiations between the two clubs and find a solution that satisfies all parties involved. The £9 million difference in valuations could potentially be bridged through bonus payments or performance-related add-ons.
Lukaku had a successful loan spell at Inter Milan last season, scoring ten goals in 25 Serie A appearances as the club won the Coppa Italia and reached the UEFA Champions League final.
In the midst of these negotiations, there are reports that Lukaku plans to ignore Mauricio Pochettino’s request to return to Chelsea for pre-season training by July 13th. He intends to wait for an agreement between Inter Milan and Chelsea, hoping to join Inter Milan’s pre-season preparations immediately after. This decision may further upset Chelsea supporters and potentially strain his relationship with Pochettino.
The situation between Lukaku, Chelsea, and Inter Milan is still developing, and it will be interesting to see how the negotiations progress in the coming days.
