Report: Germany Manager Confirms Conversations with Kai Havertz about Chelsea Future
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Germany manager Hansi Flick has disclosed that he has already spoken to Kai Havertz regarding his future at Chelsea. Flick revealed in an interview with Sky Germany that he would not divulge any details from their conversation as they have not been discussed publicly yet.
Recent reports have strongly linked Havertz with a potential departure from Stamford Bridge this summer following a disappointing season. Initially, there was interest from Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid, but the La Liga club made it clear they would not meet Chelsea’s asking price.
However, Arsenal, a Premier League rival, has now declared their interest in signing the talented German, and they are reportedly prepared to finalize a deal as early as this week. Havertz has expressed his desire to leave West London during this transfer window.
While currently on international duty, representing his country, Havertz is expected to have discussions with his manager, Flick, about his future plans. Flick stated, “Kai [Havertz] and I have had conversations [about his future], but I won’t reveal them because they haven’t been talked about publicly yet.”
Many Chelsea supporters may not be too dismayed by the prospect of Havertz leaving the club this summer, especially if the Blues can recoup a significant portion of the fee they paid to acquire him from Bayer Leverkusen. Some argue that Havertz has not been utilized in his preferred position, but it appears that his time at Stamford Bridge may be coming to an end.
