Victor Chust, a Spanish center defender, will be sold by Real Madrid to Cadiz for €1 million, according to a MARCA report. The Andalusian club chose to keep Chust after he spent the 2021–2022 season there.
Madrid will be given the chance to match any future offer that Cadiz receives for the player as well as 50% of his rights.
Chust’s performances for Cadiz were fairly underwhelming, and Real Madrid undoubtedly understood that the center-back has the skills to play a supporting position in the team, therefore it makes sense to sell him for €1 million.
Rafa Marin, an academy defender who was a target for Cadiz, will probably no longer be of interest to them since they already have Victor Chust on their roster. As a result, Marin will probably continue to play for Castilla this year, however Ancelotti may choose to deploy Marin in the first Copa del Rey games.
