Joao Felix, another high-profile addition, has yet to make his mark in his second stint at Chelsea, having to wait for his opportunity as other players are prioritized.

Not everyone is convinced by the move, either. In a list by TuttoJuve ranking the worst 10 Premier League summer transfers, Felix was named second, just behind Manchester United’s Matthijs de Ligt.
Felix’s Competition: Palmer and Nkunku
One reason Felix has yet to start in the Premier League this season is the exceptional form of Cole Palmer. Palmer’s performances have kept Felix out of his favored position, forcing him to wait for his chance. And it’s not just Palmer who stands in Felix’s way—Christopher Nkunku, fresh off another goal for France during the international break, continues to be a strong candidate for the starting lineup.
With so much attacking talent at Maresca’s disposal, the competition for spots is fierce, leaving players like Felix fighting for their opportunity to shine.
