“N’Golo Kanté was out of the training pitch when I went down” – N’Golo Kante injury condition revealed
CHELSEAN’GOLO KANTE is expected to return from injury after the international break, according to Onyekachi Uwanabi.
N’Golo Kante is expected to return following the international break.
Nizaar Kinsella of the London is Blue podcast reports that Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante will return to match fitness following the international break.
Kante has been out since the 2-2 draw with Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge a month ago.
After overstretching his hamstring while attempting to make a tackle, the 31-year-old fell down hurt in the 84th minute of the heated London derby.
The Blue’s medical crew assisted him off the field, and he was replaced by Conor Gallagher.
The Frenchman is presently back on the practice field, going through some drills.
Kante’s contract is slated to end in June 2023, and he has yet to sign a new agreement.
The Blues want to prolong his time at the Bridge, but talks with the Frenchman have stopped, and there are worries that he may go for free.
Chelsea has offered a two-year contract extension with an option for a further year.

The World Cup champion, though, has rejected the offer and is apparently wanting a lengthier contract.
Under the old Chelsea regime, he was said to be in discussions to sign a four-year deal.
When he’s on the field, Kante is one of the finest midfielders in the world, but his playing time has decreased over the previous two seasons due to a slew of injuries.
Because of his fitness levels, the Blues are hesitant to grant him a long-term deal.
Kante started just 21 league games last season and has appeared in all competitions just twice this season.
Graham Potter, who is hunting his first win as Chelsea manager, will be encouraged by Kante’s return.
The Frenchman was not there as the Blues were held to a 1-1 draw by RB Salzburg in Potter’s debut as manager.
However, assuming no more setbacks, he will be eligible for Potter’s league debut next month when Chelsea visits Crystal Palace.
