Napoli owner is open offer to accept ‘fantastic’ 20 goals Chelsea player in Victor Osimhen Swap deal
Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain have both shown keen interest in Napoli striker Victor Osimhen. However, recent developments suggest that Chelsea might hold an edge in securing Osimhen’s signature.

Nevertheless, Chelsea could leverage a potential advantage by offering a player Napoli admires in a cash-plus-player deal.
Napoli’s primary No.9 currently is Nicolas Jackson, but the club recognizes the need for additional firepower to reclaim a top-four spot next season.
Aurelio De Laurentiis, Napoli’s owner and president, is reportedly open to considering a cash-plus-player proposal from Chelsea. The player in question is Romelu Lukaku, who De Laurentiis sees as a viable option. Lukaku boasts significant Serie A experience and has impressed during his loan spell at AS Roma, netting 20 goals across all competitions this season.
Former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel once praised Lukaku as a “fantastic player,” further highlighting his suitability for Napoli.
Including Lukaku in the deal could be advantageous for all parties involved. Chelsea secures the center-forward they desire, Napoli gains a capable replacement for Osimhen, and Lukaku gets to continue his tenure in Italy, a country he holds affection for. Lukaku has previously enjoyed successful stints at Inter Milan and currently at Roma.
Ultimately, Chelsea has the option to either pursue the cash-plus-player arrangement or activate Osimhen’s release clause, which would make him one of their most expensive signings. However, considering profit and sustainability regulations, Chelsea might hesitate to opt for the latter.
