MILAN BOSS PIOLI SENDS WARNING TO CHELSEA – “NOT NORMALITY”
In a press conference earlier this afternoon, Rossoneri manager Pioli gave an overview of Milan’s upcoming Champions League encounter against Chelsea at the San Siro.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! The London Blues managed to secure a 3-0 victory at Stamford Bridge in the previous match against Pioli’s team, thanks in large part to an outstanding performance by English full-back Reece James, who managed to score a goal and provide an assist along the sides.
Despite the disappointing outcome on the road, Pioli told the media through Milan news that his team aims to put up a contrary and more encouraging performance in the rematch in front of their supporters:
“It’s nice to play in front of our supporters; they are a great source of encouragement and a useful tool for us.
We want to demonstrate that the defeat was an anomaly, not the rule. The performance in London left us wanting. We must improve by reflecting on our errors.
Charles De Ketelaere, a Belgian playmaker, was also ruled out of the important match by the Italian strategist owing to a muscular injury:
“We must do well against a powerful team. We shouldn’t worry because tomorrow is another game, and we need to play our best.
