Liverpool legend gives credit to one Chelsea player after late winner. It’s not Pulisic
Chelsea had tried their possible best to win against West Ham at Stamford Bridge on April 24 Sunday afternoon.
Chelsea was a little bit late in the game before sealing the three points against the Hammers.
Also Second-half substitute Christian Pulisic was in the right place at the right time to knock in a strike into the net, following a fine assist from Marcos Alonso.
Liverpool legend Graeme Souness was full of praise for the contribution of Alonso, as he believes that the assist from the Spaniard was a beautiful one.
“Alonso’s got great athleticism,” Souness told Sky Sports.
“It goes through a West Ham player’s legs and they’ve just not got enough bodies in there.”
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel hailed Pulisic after the game, and also praised him personally for making an impact.
On the match-winner Pulisic, Tuchel told Sky Sports: “I am happy for him. I told him he had a good impact.”
