Currently, there are numerous Chelsea players on international duty, including Moises Caicedo, who is playing for Ecuador. Caicedo showcased an excellent performance in his initial game during this break, and it’s likely he will maintain his high level in the upcoming match.
Since joining Chelsea from Brighton in the summer, Caicedo has progressively settled into his role at the club. Despite a slow start, he has begun demonstrating his quality and the significant role he can play in the team. Caicedo attributes his toughness and development as a player to his older brothers, with whom he played football when they were younger.
In his own words, shared by A Stamford Bridge Too Far, Caicedo expressed, “It’s been a journey filled with tears and pain. I played football with one of my brothers, and they were all older than me. They were stronger than me. It was tough as they used to play hard so I could be strong from a young age. I’m very thankful for that because it’s thanks to them I’m here today, making one of my biggest dreams come true.” This background has undoubtedly contributed to his resilience and success on the football field.
