John Terry send a nine-word message to Todd Boehly and Chelsea
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Declan Rice, a midfielder for West Ham United, has garnered praise from John Terry on social media. The 23-year-old was instrumental in the Hammers’ first victory of the year, helping Pablo Fornals score the game-winning goal against Aston Villa.
With fewer than two years left on his contract in east London, Rice, who was discharged by Chelsea when he was a youngster attempting to make it through the academy, is still in the area. Rice has a devoted following and a long history of interest in the Blues and Thomas Tuchel.
Moving this summer would have been challenging and is doubtful. He will still have one year left on his deal with West Ham, so he may be offered for significantly less money next summer.
It is believed that Rice does not now want to sign a new deal with the Hammers. But David Moyes is adamant about holding onto his standout midfielder.
In a prior statement to reporters in the summer, Moyes remarked, “If I had heard anything [on Rice’s future], I would not tell you.” However, it’s preferable to answer, “No, we haven’t, and let me tell you, he isn’t for sale. As a result, it could put an end to any inquiries concerning Declan, but we do anticipate them given how well he is doing.
“Is he indispensable? When I was at Everton, I had to sell Wayne Rooney early. I believed Wayne was irreplaceable, but in sports, you have to go on. At football, that is what takes place.
“Things like this do sometimes happen, but we at West Ham have no intention of allowing that to happen at this moment.”
Former captain Terry, who made a Twitter message to show his enthusiasm for the England international, is one player who would like Rice at Chelsea. “@ DeclanRice covers every inch of the pitch,” he tweeted. What a player, to use an emoji.
