“Joao Felix’s reaction of anger after being nutmegged by Ben Chilwell during a Chelsea training session.
The 23-year-old Portuguese international, Joao Felix, is getting ready to participate in the Premier League match against West Ham on Saturday afternoon at the London Stadium. He has served a three-game suspension.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Previously, Felix received a red card during the match against Fulham last month, shortly after he signed a loan deal with Chelsea from Atletico Madrid until the end of the season.
Head coach, Graham Potter, will have Felix available for the London derby this weekend. The entire team has been preparing for the match through intensive training sessions at the Cobham training ground.
“The activity at the Cobham training ground has increased due to the arrival of eight new players in January and the return of several players, such as Reece James and Ben Chilwell, from injury.
During a training session on Thursday, Joao Felix participated in a keep-ball exercise alongside players like Thiago Silva, Marc Cucurella, and Ben Chilwell. The session was captured by Chelsea.
Felix was in the center of the action when he was nutmegged by the English player, Ben Chilwell, who immediately asked, “Where’s the camera?” and pointed it out to Felix.
In response, Felix quickly said, “No camera, no, no, no!”
After Chelsea posted the footage, Felix took to Instagram and expressed his frustration with two angry emojis.”
“Joao Felix is expected to be included in the starting lineup for the match against West Ham, while Mykhailo Mudryk is eager to play for more than 45 minutes after being forced to leave the field due to illness during halftime against Fulham last week.
Chelsea is currently ten points away from securing a Champions League spot, but Coach Graham Potter remains confident that his team has the ability to close the gap despite their poor performance earlier in the season.
When asked about their chances of making it to the top four, Potter responded, “I have confidence in the potential and ability of the group. The challenge now is to bring the team together. There is still a lot of football to be played, but I don’t want to waste too much time thinking about the future. My focus is on the next day, the next training session, and the next game.”
