Chelsea striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has spoken out about being “hurt” at one of his past teams.

Aubameyang joined Barcelona as a free agent in January after falling out with Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta and being stripped of the club captaincy due to disciplinary concerns.
Aubameyang told his new teammate Wesley Fofana on Chelsea’s YouTube channel: “I’ve gone through a lot of tough situations, not injuries.”
“I was fine, but at the start of my career, everyone just talked about me as a sprinter.”
“This stings sometimes because you know where you came from, you know you went through a lot of stuff, and you always try your best, and some people, even from your club, say you’re not good at playing football.”
Aubameyang has previously played for Saint-Etienne and AC Milan, as well as loan stints with Monaco, Lille, and Dijon.
