If you can’t fight for your position, quit Chelsea, a phony leader – Frank Leboeuf urges Chelsea star
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Christian Pulisic has been encouraged by Frank Leboeuf, a former Chelsea midfielder, to quit Stamford Bridge this summer if he considers his lack of consistent playing time under Thomas Tuchel is unjust.
According to Leboeuf, Pulisic is neither a real leader nor a player who can salvage Chelsea in the future.
Pulisic revealed this after his father questioned his lack of playing time and recommended he leave Stamford Bridge.
Since joining Chelsea for £58 million from Borussia Dortmund in 2019, Pulisic has had a turbulent experience.
Despite playing a key role in Chelsea’s Champions League success, the American international has struggled to establish a regular berth in the side.
He has only started 10 of Chelsea’s 34 Premier League games this season, and he was selected on Tuchel’s bench for Sunday’s 1-0 defeat to Everton.
When asked if he thinks Pulisic would leave Chelsea this summer, Leboeuf answered, “Yeah, it’s conceivable.” I’m not sure whether or not he’s depressed.
“He never appears to be vital to any of the coaches, whether at Borussia Dortmund or Chelsea.”
“As the [USA] captain, I believe he feels the pressure of leading a country ahead of a World Cup.” He is not, however, viewed as a real leader or as the guy who will save Chelsea in Europe.
The narrator states, “It is what it is.” He still has time to improve, but he should leave Chelsea if he feels the situation is unfair. Alternately, fight for your job because the frontline has been a mess for more over a year.”
