If isn’t sacked this weekend then Todd Boehly is definitely keen on destroying Chelsea
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Graham Potter is not the proper manager for Chelsea, as seen by the team’s terrible performance today against bottom-of-the-league Southampton.
After 20 minutes of play at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea’s possession percentage against league-worst Southampton was just 37%. You did read that correctly.
I saw a Southampton squad, which lacked a manager, perform all the things that Chelsea should. Southampton had a clear strategy for pressing Chelsea hard and making the Blues commit errors. They also had excellent possession, thus they deserved to lead 1-0 at halftime.
Potter has coached the Blues for more than 20 games, but there hasn’t been a clear playing philosophy. After every game, there are usually justifications for subpar performances.
Potter had no success as a manager or player, and I’m supposed to believe in the process? What exactly am I supposed to believe is the question.
If Potter doesn’t lose his job as Chelsea manager this weekend, Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital aren’t Chelsea’s best owners.
