“I don’t believe he’s really talented like this” Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka praises Chelsea defender’s display on national duty

Reece James of Chelsea was referred to as a “baller” on Instagram by Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka following England’s sloppy 3-3 draw with Germany on Monday night in the UEFA Nations League.
In this dead-rubber match, Saka, who played left wing-back against Italy, dropped to the bench in favour of the Chelsea academy product, who began at right wing-back for his nation.
Even though it was a dead-rubber match, England was under a lot of pressure due to their recent performance and the fact that this was their final game before the Qatar World Cup in 2022.
After a lacklustre first-half performance, the visitors, not Gareth Southgate’s team, started to play better after the break, scoring a quick-fire double that included an incredible curling goal from Kai Havertz.
At around that time, Arsenal Premier League leader Saka and Chelsea player Mason Mount entered the action and completely changed the course of the match.
Luke Shaw began the comeback, before Harry Kane’s penalty was offset by another Havertz goal, before Mount and Saka’s partnership allowed the Chelsea star to score a magnificent first-time goal.
The players Gareth Southgate should or should not choose have been the subject of much discussion.
Harry Maguire, the captain of Manchester United, is taking centre stage amid all of this turmoil, but Saka and James are two players that don’t need to be concerned about their spots for Qatar.
They will receive the golden ticket; the only question is whether they will start the first group match against Iran.
While James appears to be ahead of Kieran Trippier, he might benefit from Kyle Walker potentially playing in a back three, while Trent Alexander-Arnold is just not liked by Southgate. Saka has shown against Germany that when you put the Hale-End star in his proper place, he will cook.
