Callum Hudson-Odoi, a winger for Chelsea, has agreed to a one-year loan agreement with Bayer Leverkusen of the German Bundesliga.

The youthful winger has expressed his happiness at the impending start of a new journey.
“I can’t deny my excitement. I guess it’s fresh for me since I’ve just been to Chelsea, Hudson-Odoi said, according to the official Bayer Leverkusen website.
I’m excited to be here and can’t wait to start working with the lads, get things rolling, and hopefully succeed.
“[The project is] appealing. I told my family that I was going to make sure I was playing football and would have the chance to do it in front of some amazing supporters. For me to come here is huge.
Hudson-Odoi also said that Kai Havertz, a former Bayer Leverkusen player, encouraged him to sign with the club.
Hudson-Odoi said, “He [Havertz] told me it’s fantastic, obviously, that everyone he’s been with over the previous years has been amazing for him.
He said you’ll love it over there; just go, do you, and be confident, and everything will go well. He adored every second of it.
In addition, Hudson-signing Odoi’s by Bayer Leverkusen was acknowledged by sports director Simon Rolfes, who said, “We have acquired a speedy and penetrative winger in Callum Hudson-Odoi.
He is well equipped to assist us right away. Callum has participated in more than 100 games for Chelsea and has established himself in both the Premier League and the Champions League.
“This will provide another unique element to our offensive game. We are delighted that the transfer was successful.
