Moises Caicedo remained silent when asked directly about joining Chelsea this summer. In a video published on the Sports Illustrated TikTok account, Caicedo smiled wryly but did not comment on the matter.
Chelsea’s attempts to sign Caicedo have been well-documented, with several bids being rejected by Brighton. The Seagulls value the Ecuadorian midfielder highly, similar to Declan Rice, who recently moved to Arsenal for a British record fee.
Chelsea is reluctant to pay the high valuation and is not willing to include defender Levi Colwill in any potential deal, leading to a standstill in negotiations.
