Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! After an amazing start to his career, rising through the Chelsea academy and becoming a fixture in the side, James has been linked with a move away from the club.
The Daily Mail reports that both Manchester City and Chelsea are interested in signing the England international.
However, according to transfer writer Romano, James is close to signing a new deal and has never been close to heading to Real Madrid.
James has already established himself as one of Europe’s greatest young players despite his early age. It’s hardly surprising that some of the top teams are interested in signing the right-back.
However, Chelsea is also interested in one of Europe’s greats, so there’s no need for James to leave the club.
Jame Signing a new contract and continuing to play consistently at the top level would be a wise decision for James, and if he wants to be a regular in Gareth Southgate’s England side, Chelsea will be the best choice for him.
