Calciomercato has now provided a full update on the situation, stating that Milan and Chelsea have agreed on the terms of Pulisic’s transfer. The deal is believed to be worth around €20 million (£17 million) in total, and Pulisic is set to sign a four-year contract with his new club.
The report suggests that Milan could finalize the deal by Monday, allowing Pulisic to join them for their pre-season training camp.
Previous reports had indicated that Pulisic’s preference was to join Milan this summer, and it seems his wish is about to come true.
If the transfer goes through, Pulisic may have played his final game for Chelsea, having made 145 first-team appearances during his time at Stamford Bridge. Winning the Champions League was undoubtedly a highlight of his career with the Blues.
With Ruben Loftus-Cheek already having made the move from Chelsea to Milan this summer, Pulisic will have a familiar face in the team. He will also be reunited with former Chelsea teammates Olivier Giroud and Fikayo Tomori.
Chelsea’s swift player sales and squad trimming this summer have earned praise, as it will provide significant assistance to head coach Mauricio Pochettino.
