Raheem Sterling’s transfer to Chelsea is all almost finalized.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! The Man City star has reached a personal agreement with the Blues to go to Stamford Bridge.
With salaries of £300k per week, Raheem Sterling is now poised to overtake Eden Hazard as Chelsea’s highest-paid player.
N’Golo Kante, who presently earns £290k per week for Chelsea, will be surpassed by Sterling to become the club’s highest-paid player.
There are rumors that Chelsea and City will reach an agreement on a cost of £45 million over the next 24 hours.
Last season, Sterling started 23 games for the Premier League and scored 13 goals.
Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, a former Chelsea striker, has praised Chelsea’s acquisition but maintains that they still need a goal scorer.
They need a goal scorer, he remarked. Although Sterling is an excellent player, he is not a pure number nine.
So, in my opinion, if you’re going to sign Sterling, you still need to get a striker.
We all know how talented Sterling is, how fast he is, and how dedicated he is, so this is a terrific signing. But I still believe they need a goal striker who can score 20 goals or more.
The Telegraph claims that Sterling has been “impressed” with Tuchel’s ambitions and that their discussions have been “productive.”
Chelsea hopes to complete the transaction before the deadline so that Sterling can travel with his new teammates to Los Angeles on Saturday to begin their preseason tour.
