With a victory vs AC Milan today, Chelsea would make great progress toward advancing from their Champions League group. Just six days prior, the Blues defeated the Serie A champions at Stamford Bridge thanks to goals from Wesley Fofana, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and Reece James.

Graham Potter stressed the significance of this match by resting several important players for the Blues in their victory against Wolves at the weekend. The starting eleven for the match against the Wolves omitted Raheem Sterling, Ben Chilwell, Reece James, and Aubameyang.

There will be a few Blues absences, but all of those players are anticipated to return to the starting eleven for the match at San Siro.
