Chelsea was ultimately given by the agent to finalize the £500k/week star agreement before the deadline.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! The transfer window is about to close, but the Blues are still in the race and ready to make a few more acquisitions.
Cristiano Ronaldo, though, was reportedly offered to Chelsea by super-agent Jorge Mendes before to the deadline.
Ronaldo is a guy who has made headlines this summer for all the wrong reasons when it was revealed that he wanted to leave the Manchester United giants because he wanted to play in the Champions League.
Because Thomas Tuchel wants to add firepower to that assault, rumours have spread across the media that we are highly interested in attempting to recruit the Portuguese star.
However, despite the continual rumours and conjecture, no formal transaction has been done. This is particularly true given that the Blues are eager to capture Barcelona’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The Metro, however, claims that Mendes has since visited Tuchel and has given them the opportunity to sign Ronaldo.
The Portuguese star is still interested in leaving the team, and Mendes is aware that Tuchel is still eager to bring in a true striker in the closing hours of the transfer window.
