Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel must make a crucial choice ahead of Saturday’s FA Cup final.
Tuchel has been chastised for not having his preferred front three from the start of the season, as the Blues manager has frequently changed his approach depending on the game.
Over the previous two months, Kai Havertz has been the favored striker up front, but Romelu Lukaku has been sharp in the last two games.
Tuchel has a big choice to make, and he’s claimed Lukaku and Havertz aren’t compatible when they play together, which is why he’d choose one of them for the FA Cup final.
“I can play both,” Tuchel added, “albeit they don’t fit together well.”
“It’s highly likely to be one of the two, but we’re not going to reveal the lineup today.”
“Romelu has recently played and scored, he has done everything to stay on the pitch, and our final decision will be made tomorrow morning.”
