Ex-Chelsea boss accepts club manager offer in Zambia
Avram Grant, a former manager of Chelsea, has been named the head coach of Zambia’s national team.

Grant stated during a news conference in Lusaka, “I was looking for the proper challenge and that’s why I chose Zambia.
“I came here for the challenge, and when I leave here, I hope to be able to look around and say that we did a good job and laid a good foundation for the future.
“I believe Zambia has promise, and we have established goals for ourselves,” you say.
Grant has prior managerial experience in Africa. He coached Ghana to the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations final, where they lost to Ivory Coast on penalties. Two years later, after coming fourth in the same tournament, Grant announced his resignation.
He has also served as the manager of West Ham United in the Premier League.
